gCards - Overview
gCards is a collection of scripts, making it possible for you to offer visitors to your Website electronic postcards. You can upload own pictures and pieces of music onto your webspace and assemble them to postcards. Visitors of your Website simultaneously promote your Internet project by sending postcards, since the receiver is visiting your Website when viewing the postcard.
gCards - Installation & Summary of Features
Installing/Uninstalling gCards
Open your Domaintechnik Control Panel and click on the link gCards. You are now in your gCards Manager. With this tool gCards can be installed and uninstalled, respectively. First click on the link Create new and enter the desired path in order to copy the files to your webspace.
As soon as all files were copied, click on Install to start the initial setup and to configuer gCards. If you want to uninstall the software again, click on Uninstall in the gCards Manager and select whether the database should be deleted or not.
View gCards
Open your gCards Manager and click on the link Start page or enter the address of your domain and the path chosen at installation in a browser, e.g. www.yourdomain.tld/gcards/.
(Replace "yourdomain.tld" with the actual domain and 'gcards' with your installation path of gCards.)
Administrator section
In order to get to the administrator section of gCards, click on the link Administration and log on as administrator with the access data chosen at the time of installation.
