Errorpage Manager - Overview

In the Errorpage Manager you can determine the error pages valid for your website with only a few clicks. These error pages are displayed instead of the standard error pages, when the appropriate error occurs.

Errorpage Manager - Summary of Features

Defining the Errorpages

In order to define an errorpage, open your Errorpage Manager and activate the errorpage settings by marking the checkbox next to the appropriate errorpage. Enter the name of the file to be displayed instead of the standard error page, and click on Save.

If the specified file exists, you have the possibility to edit or preview the file, otherwise you can create the file.

The files to be displayed should be located and created in your www directory. You may also use files with a relative path to your www directory. If the file for an error is missing, the standard errorpage will be displayed instead.

In order to restore the standard settings for an error message, you have to uncheck the box for the appropriate errorpage and Save your settings.

You can find pre-defined errorpages in your Errorpage Manager under Examples.

Adding an Error Message

By default, you can customize the errorpages for the errors 401, 403, 404 and 500. If you would like to add a different error, enter the appropriate error code in your Errorpage Manager, as well as the name of the file to be displayed, and click on Create.
