MediaWiki hosting makes it possible to have your own wiki
MediaWiki is an open source wiki software, written in PHP. It uses MySQL as database. 
Installation of MediaWiki in the Hosting Control Panel for your homepage
Installing MediaWiki
Open your Domaintechnik® Control Panel, click on software module and choose MediaWiki. You are now within the installation wizard which helps you install or remove MediaWiki for your hosting package. Choose a version and click on Next. Now enter the desired path and confirm with a click on Next to copy the files onto your hosting package. As soon as all files are copied, you can start the configuration setup by clicking the shown link. When you are finished with the basic configuration, go back into the software module, click on Next and finish the installation by clicking Finish Wizard.
Removing MediaWiki
If you want to remove MediaWiki, position your cursor over the button Action and choose Remove. Follow the step-by-step wizard to remove the software.

View MediaWiki
In a browser, enter the address of your domain and the installation path of MediaWiki e.g. yourdomain.tld/mediawiki/
(yourdomain.tld has to be replaced with your real domain, mediawiki has to be replaced with the installation path of MediaWiki.).
Administration area
To reach the administration area of MediaWiki and gain administration rights, go into your MediaWiki site and login with the access data chosen during the installation of MediaWiki.
