expCounter - Web counter

The expCounter software is an open source web counter and analysis tool for your homepage. expCounter is based on PHP and MySQL. Offering a comprehensive administration and statistic area, expCounter can be adapted individually to your needs. The web counter can be added to your website using PHP or JavaScript.


Installation of expCounter in the Hosting Control Panel

Installing expCounter
Open your Domaintechnik® Control Panel, click on software module and choose expCounter. You are now within the installation wizard which helps you install or remove expCounter for your hosting package. Choose a version and click on Next. Now enter the desired path and confirm with a click on Next to copy the files onto your webspace.

As soon as all files are copied, you can start the configuration setup by clicking the link provided in the installation wizard. When you are finished with the basic configuration, switch back to the software module, click on Next and finish the installation by clicking Finish Wizard.


Removing expCounter
If you want to remove expCounter, position your cursor over the button Action and choose Remove. Follow the step-by-step wizard to remove the software.


expCounter administration and view

View expCounter
In a browser, enter the address of your domain and the installation path of expCounter e.g. yourdomain.tld/expcounter/ (yourdomain.tld has to be replaced with your real domain, expcounter has to be replaced with the installation path of expCounter.).


Administration area
To access the administration area of expCounter, enter the address of the expCounter software in a browser followed by /administration/ e.g. yourdomain.tld/expcounter/administration/ (yourdomain.tld has to be replaced with your real domain, expcounter has to be replaced with the installation path of expCounter.). Now login with the access data you chose while installing expCounter.
