Drupal CMS Hosting - Overview

Drupal is an open source CMS (Content Management System) based on PHP and MySQL. Drupals characteristics are usability, clear configuration interface and high functionality.

Maintenance of a website works 100% over the Internet and can be accomplished from every place without additional software. All you need is a web browser.

Installing Drupal CMS in the Hosting Control Panel for your homepage

Installing Drupal
Open your Domaintechnik® Control Panel, click on software module and choose Drupal. You are now within the installation wizard which helps you install or remove Drupal for your hosting package. Choose a version and click on Next. Now enter the desired path and confirm with a click on Next to copy the files onto your webhosting.

As soon as all files are copied, you can start the configuration setup by clicking the shown link. When you are finished with the basic configuration, switch back to the software module, click on Next and finish the installation by clicking Finish Wizard.


Removing Drupal CMS
If you want to remove Drupal, position your cursor over the button Action and choose Remove. Follow the step-by-step wizard to remove the software.

View Drupal
In a browser, enter the address of your domain and the installation path of Drupal e.g. yourdomain.tld/drupal/ (yourdomain.tld has to be replaced with your real domain, drupal has to be replaced with the installation path of Drupal.).


Administration area
To access the administration area of Drupal, go into your Drupal site and login with the access data you chose while installing Drupal.
