DokuWiki is a basic, user-friendly and free wiki software. It is written in PHP and does not need a database. Data is stored on your webspace in text format.

Installing DokuWiki software
Open your Domaintechnik® Control Panel, click on software module and choose DokuWiki. You are now within the installation wizard which helps you install or remove DokuWiki for your hosting package. Choose a version and click on Next. Now enter the desired path and confirm with a click on Next to copy the files onto your webspace. As soon as all files are copied you can finish the installation by clicking Finish Wizard
Removing DokuWiki software
If you want to remove DokuWiki, position your cursor over the button Action and choose Remove. Follow the step-by-step wizard to remove the wiki software.

Configure DokuWiki
In a browser, enter the address of your domain and the installation path of DokuWiki followed by install.php e.g. yourdomain.tld/dokuwiki/install.php (yourdomain.tld has to be replaced with your real domain, dokuwiki has to be replaced with the installation path of DokuWiki.).
View DokuWiki
In a browser, enter the address of your domain and the installation path of DokuWiki e.g. yourdomain.tld/dokuwiki/ (yourdomain.tld has to be replaced with your real domain, dokuwiki has to be replaced with the installation path of DokuWiki).
Administration area
To reach the administration area of DokuWiki and gain administration rights, go into your DokuWiki site and login with the access data chosen during the installation of DokuWiki.
