Mailing Lists - Overview
With the Mailing List module, you can set up new mailing lists, manage existing ones, and check the disk quota used by your mailing lists. In addition, you can set up a digest-list, allowing your recipients to receive a recap of all messages from a certain period of time. 
Mailing Lists - Summary of Features
Create new mailing list Choose create to add a new mailing list. In the field Select name of mail list, type in the desired name for your mailing list and specify the address of your list administrator at Select email of mail lists administrator. When clicking on Next, the next step (message options) is shown. Please choose your desired options for the behavior of your list.
At the Next step the configuration options for subscribing to, and unsubscribing from your list are shown. At step four you are able to select archive options for emails sent by your list. Digest options may be selected at the fifth step.
Once you have completed this step by clicking on Next, the Confirmation screen (showing all chosen options) is displayed. Please confirm the creation of your mailing list by clicking on Next. You may now close the step-by-step-creation-process by clicking on Finish Wizard.
Note: Where available, additional information on configuration options for message, subscriber, and archive options are shown as tool-tip, when hovering your mouse cursor over each option (text-label or radio-button).
Update mailing list
Update settings Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option update. Now you are able to update all settings of your mailing list. Click Save to apply your changes. Add subscribers Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option add subscribers. Please type (or paste) your new subscribers in the text field (one address per line). Click Add to add all subscribers listed in the text field to your mailing lists directory of subscribers. Delete subscribers Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option delete subscribers. Please type (or paste) all subscribers which should be removed in the text field (one address per line). Choose Delete to remove all addresses listed in the text field from your mailing lists directory of subscribers. Manage subscribers Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option manage subscribers. An overview of all subscribers will be shown in a new window. You may select one or more entries by filling the check boxes to the left of each entry. Choose Delete to delete the chosen addresses from your mailing lists directory of subscribers. Click Ok to close this window once you are finished with your task. Add moderators Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option add moderators. Please type (or paste) your new moderators into the text field (one address per line). Choose Add to add all moderators listed in the text field to your mailing lists directory of moderators. Manage/Delete moderators Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option manage moderators. An overview of all moderators will be shown in a new window. You may select one or more entries by filling the check boxes to the left of each entry. Choose delete to delete the chosen addresses from your mailing lists directory of moderators. Please click Ok to close this window, once you are done with your task. Delete mailing list Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option delete. Confirm your action by clicking Delete. All information (stored messages, subscribers, moderators, etc.) will be lost.
