Databases - Overview
Depending on your hosting package you have the possibility to create a certain amount of databases. Using the provided phpMyAdmin tool, you can comfortably and efficiently manage your database(s). 
Databases - Summary of Features
Create a new database Click on add new database to create a new database. Type in the desired name for your new database in the field Name and complete the process by clicking on Create.
Set password for database(s) Click on set password to set a new password for your database-user. Type in the desired password in the field Password and repeat it to confirm your entry. Click on Set to store your new password. Please note that you may have to update the configuration of installed software (e.g. bbPress Forum, phpBB Forum, Joomla, Typo3, etc.) when you change your database password.
Delete Database Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option Delete. Confirm your action by clicking Delete. Warning: If you delete a database, all information stored in this database is lost. Please check installed software before deletion.
View access data Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option access. All access information is now presented to you. Note: If you want to access your database from an external system, please use your domain-name as Hostname/Servername and 3306 as Port when setting up the connection.
Manage database Position your cursor over the Action-button and choose the option manage. The database-administration-tool phpMyAdmin will then open in a new window.
