IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol)
IMAP is an email protocol, which makes it possible to administer emails synchronously on the server and on the local computer.
How to Set Up an IMAP Account?
IMAP accounts are supported by the most email programs. You have only to select“IMAP” as account type/protocol instead of “POP3” on setting up the email account.
All other settings are to be selected analogous to setting up a POP3 account.
