| A set of guidelines that outline polite behaviour on the Internet. This includes not sending spam mails, not typing in capitals while chatting, which would be understood as yelling, and not posting images or sound files in text-only newsgroups, among other things. The name is a combination of "net" and "etiquette". See also: Spam |
