If you are not satisfied with your current domain provider / webspace provider, just fill in the online application form found here, to transfer your domain to Domaintechnik.com. Thus, you can use all our domain management possibilities.

If you want to transfer a .com .net .org .info or .biz domain to us, you will receive an email after filling in the online application form. (We will send this to the administrator email address specified by you at the domain whois.) You have to confirm your intention of domain transfer per mail. Then (within a few days) you will receive another email from your previous domain registrar, which you have to confirm, as well.

Please note:
.com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domains are renewed by one year after the transfer is completed. You will be charged for this year immediately.

If you want to transfer an at domain or a de domain to us, fill in the online application form and print out the transfer form:

Send the filled in form per fax (+43 (0) 6215-20889), scanned per email or by mail to us. Your domain transfer will be handled immediately.
If any ambiguity or questions should arise, please send us an email to our support department.

Potential problems:

° Your previous provider has self-registered as owner of your domain, thereby you have no rights over your domain:
+ ask your previous provider to register you as legal domain owner.

° Your previous provider has self-registered as administrative contact for a .com .net .org .info or .biz domain and therefore you did not receive the email for the transfer confirmation:
+ ask your previous provider to immediately register the domain owner as admin-c.

° The domain is deactivated due to non-payment (often, the previous provider has forgotten to pay):
+ immediately contact us per email stating the domain name. Then you will receive the necessary fax form from us.
